"But I don't want to be among mad people."
"Oh, you can't help that, Alice. We're all mad, here. I'm mad, you're mad..."

Please for the love of detail full view this piece!

The Cheshire Cat has always been one of my absolute favorite characters in any type of fiction. He's so... creepy and mischevious. That's why, when I got older and I actually read Alice's Adventures in Wonderland instead of watching the Disney version of the film, I got more and more disatisfied with the way he was portrayed in the movie.

So I had to jazz him up a little, make him creepier.

This is one of my best pieces to date, in my opinion. I love him so much. I love the color scheme. I even love that crappy tree. :3

The background = fun with star-shaped brushes in Photoshop.

I love that grin. Makes me smile back at him. And the colors are very bold and nice. Great work.

Why, thankee!

Anything to get out of that horrid pink-and-purple creature Disney foisted on us.

Agreed on his portrayal in the Disney movie. Though I love it to pieces, nothing can really compare to good ol' Lewis Carroll.

True, true. The original is always better. :)
